This magnificent mammal, with twilight and nocturnal habits, lives mainly in the temperate forests of Europe, North Africa, Asia and even North America. Recognizable by the two antlers that adorn the deer's head, it is a relatively impressive animal that can measure up to 1.50 m at the withers for a weight of between 67 and 300 kg! The coat, darker in males, varies according to the seasons: it can be fine and reddish-brown in summer and become thick and gray-brown in winter in order to protect from the cold.
