Among the 20,000 species of bees that inhabit the planet the most reknown one is the one named Apis Mellifera, also called honey bee. From the first blossoms of spring they leave their nest and begin their foraging work, essential for the survival of the hive and the queen. The latter, the only breeding female, is the main element of a colony which can count several thousand individuals that are distributed according to a caste system.
